Introducing SparkScore: The Revolutionary Tool Empowering Home Buyers

SparkOffer by Auction.com is proud to announce the launch of SparkScore - a game-changing Offer Valuation algorithm, designed to help home buyers like you make stronger, more competitive offers in real-time - completely sidestepping the dreaded “How’s my offer” scenario.

Take a look below to see how Offer Valuation through SparkScore can help any buyer in any situation.

Just want to try it out? no worries - feel free to check out our demo.

Why does this benefit you?

  • Are you tired of painstakingly making your case with sellers - as if you and the seller were never on the same page?

  • What about asking the agent “how’s my offer?” - only to be met with silence, or a vague response 3 days later?

SparkScore’s reliance on real property transaction data means that both you and the seller now share a common language. Additionally, it'll give you instant feedback on your offer.

This has many benefits for you.

  • Real-time feedback and transparency: Eliminate the guesswork and anxiety from your offer process. SparkScore's straightforward insights tell you exactly how your offer is - meaning you spend less time wondering what the seller wants, and more time winning.

  • Cooperation and Trust: Bridge the trust gap between you and the seller! By providing an objective measure of your offer's strength and legitimacy, SparkScore demonstrates your seriousness as a buyer, fostering cooperation and paving the way for smoother transactions.

  • Every Buyer Can Improve: Enhance your offer's appeal without necessarily breaking the bank. Think of it this way - sellers would prefer a mortgage offer from a trusted buyer to a cash offer from an unreliable buyer! With SparkScore, you always have a fighting chance.

💡 Tip - The best part? SparkOffer allows you to enhance your offer at any time. In conjunction with SparkScore, this affords you instant feedback on each improvement you make.

No more bottlenecks, no more anxiety - we’re empowering YOU to present your strongest possible offer for any home.

How it works - What is Offer Valuation?

We’re all familiar with instant home-valuation tools like Zestimate.

Now what if we took that logic, and applied it to offers?

SparkScore is the first Offer Valuation Model on the market, and we think it’ll completely revolutionize your future property transactions.

SparkScore's Offer Valuation Model is designed to give you instant insights - helping you close a deal much quicker! Read on to see how these insights are presented to you.

What does it do?

Let’s go back to high school - remember how you felt getting a math test back with a “C-”, with red pen marks all over it?

  • Instant Offer Grading: SparkScore evaluates offers using a familiar A-F grading system, providing immediate feedback on your offer’s overall strength.

  • Personalized Improvement Suggestions: Along with the grade, you’ll instantly receive tailored advice on how to enhance your offer. These improvements are actionable, step-by-step and easy-to-follow.

  • Comprehensive Evaluation: We firmly believe that a good offer goes beyond price. Our algorithm takes into account (a.) the seller’s unique situation, and (b.) psychological factors like interpersonal trust.

Getting Started with SparkScore

Using SparkScore

SparkScore is free to use! - Just make an offer on a property and it'll activate automatically, providing you feedback on your offer.

You may test SparkScore out here:

Your Grade

SparkScore Grades each offer based on how well it meets the seller's expectations.

Here's what each grade means:

  • An “A” is exceptional - an offer so good, that the seller might take it without further negotiation!

  • B” is pretty good - the seller will like your offer for the most part. They may negotiate a couple points, at most.

  • C” is average - the seller is likely to counter your offer, and this may go back and forth.

  • D” is below average to bad - your offer definitely needs lots of improvement.

  • F” is so bad that the seller wouldn’t even want to look at it or conduct negotiations.

The Grade is given instantly upon submitting an offer:

💡 Tip - Grades matter! In order to save the seller precious time, we hide D or lower offers from their view by default.

  • It is therefore crucial to improve your offer to meet the seller's expectations - in order for them to engage further with it.

  • You may improve your offer as often as you like until final offers are due.

Offer Feedback

SparkScore's Improvements helps you tailor your offer to the seller's expectations.

Broadly speaking, SparkScore scores two things:

  • Individual terms or parameters of the offer (e.g. Offer Amount)

  • Account-level parameters (e.g. Verifications)

Clicking on suggested Improvement will take you directly to where the improvement needs to happen.

💡 Tip - Every buyer can improve! We recognize that you're looking for a good deal on your purchase. Please note that there are ways you can improve your offer without changing your offer terms:

  • Verify your Account

  • Provide a Proof of Funds

Sellers are looking for legitimacy in each offer they receive - therefore, both are essential to getting a good Grade.
